Deciding that a woman is a woman because she looks desirable is very male centric - that’s what women are for, aren’t they?

Women, on the other hand, have issues of safety, privacy, freedom to be themselves, dignity, fair sports, political representation, reliable statistics to show prejudice still firmly exists, not to mention a right to grow up beyond puberty without being mutilated by followers of a male rights movement.

Transwomen are the personification of the male gaze. As long as men continue to see us as objects and not people, and in so much as we continue to live in a patriarchy, this will go on and on.

Isn't Sal's answer just the best? And you know what? It's not just birds that cannot change their taxonomic status to mammal, but no mammal can change sex either! I mean, who knew? (Everyone not in thrall to a destructive ideology actually.) If you read this, https://lucyleader.substack.com/p/private-spaces you may never be able to use tomato paste again (or maybe you will use more!).
